Originally from China, Jing arrived in the States for her graduate studies in Communications at NC State University. She received a full teaching assistant scholarship for a Public Speaking course for fifty students. Jing contributes her creativity in branding and graphic design skills for the Savvy team and its clients.

Jing completed her double major of Media & Advertising and English at Harbin Institute of Technology. She was a top student in her class while holding a part-time position off campus. Her humorous and inspiring teaching style earned her a position of Test of English as a Foreign Language instructor at New Oriental E&T Group, China's biggest private educational service provider. Jing developed her own curriculum, managed more than 150 students, and launched a marketing campaign to promote new courses and attract student customers.

Jing is also a communication outreach volunteer at InterAct, Wake County's non-profit agency for victims of domestic violence. Jing has used her design expertise to promote projects such as domestic awareness silent march, candlelight vigil, neighborhood block parties, and an author's series.

Jing is also involved with Research Triangle's China Star as a staff writer and layout designer. As a music fan, Jing works as a disc jockey in WKNC 88.1, a student-run radio station. She co-hosts two shows, Mo Funk and China Hour.
